Apple announced the iPhone on January 9, 2007 and since the introduction of two new models the application buisness has grown to be worth over $2.4 billion a year so in context, Apple says about 1.5 billion apps have been downloaded from the App Store. Some of these applications are based solely on the iTunes store platform but others have taken it a little further and built a website to promote their application.

In your list, you have “iphone for wordpress”. I don’t know if that was intentional, but the name of the product is “wordpress for iphone” as the screenshot shows.

great examples. nice to see that not everyone uses a large phone to demonstrate the device it’s intended for, but those that did often used a beautifully presented example!
